Frequently Asked MedSpa Questions – Houston, TX

Ask Your Houston MedSpa

As you can imagine, patients typically have a lot of questions when they come to see us at Dream Aesthetics Medspa. Our team is always willing to take the time to answer them, because we want everyone to feel fully informed and comfortable at each appointment. Below, we’ve gone ahead and answered some of our most popular questions, and if there is anything else you’d like to ask, you’re more than welcome to give us a call.

How much does it cost to get Botox?

The cost of a Botox treatment will vary from patient to patient because the number of units needed will be different based on someone’s skin and appearance goals. We’ll give you a projected cost when you come in for a consultation.

How long does a TruSculpt ID session take?

On average, the treatment itself takes 15 minutes. Typically, one treatment reduces fast by about 24%, and we can schedule additional treatments if needed. Because the treatment is so gentle, many patients have it done during lunch and are able to quickly return to work without issue.

Which injectable is best: Botox, Dysport, Kybella, or Radiesse?

Each injectable we offer has unique qualities that make it better for certain applications, which means the perfect one for you may not be for someone else. After discussing your goals, we’ll recommend which injectable we think would be best for you.

How long do the results from injectables last?

For injectables that are intended to smooth and tighten the skin (like Botox or Dysport), the results can be expected to last about 3-6 months on average. With a treatment like Kybella, however, which removes fat from below the chin, the results can be permanent after a few sessions, as it’s designed to prevent fat from accumulating in that part of the body ever again.

Does getting injectables/microneedling/TruSculpt hurt?

We apply a numbing cream to the skin before performing these treatments and offer local anesthesia, so patients find it very easy to remain comfortable throughout the entire procedure. A little redness and swelling can develop afterward, but these symptoms are typically mild and go away very quickly.

Are your treatments covered by insurance?

Usually, no. Most of the treatments offered at Dream Aesthetics Medspa are considered elective by insurance providers, though some HSAs can be used to offset the cost of certain procedures (depending on how strict they are). To make our care more affordable, we run a number of specials each month and also have a Membership Program you can sign up for.
